About

About the name

In Japanese folk lore, a Baku is a spirit who devours dreams and nightmares. It has had various forms, but is most commonly depicted with an elephant’s head, tusks, and trunk, with horns and tiger’s claws.

As security practitioners in any capacity, our role is to protect the people, assets, mission, and culture of the organizations that we work for and with. As a consultant and trusted partner, protecting the mission of decision-makers, and culture of organizations, often begins with a simple question: "what keeps you up at night?"

So, what keeps you up at night?
