The NAEYC accreditation system sets the
standard for excellence—for families, the
early childhood education profession as
well as the public—and offers support to
programs to meet the standards.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation standards were developed to improve the quality of early childhood education programs. They provide a framework for programs to ensure they are meeting high quality standards.
