Special Guest: Mark A. Burley
We are honored to be joined by television legend Mark A. Burley for the 1st Annual Hillsboro Film Festival! Mark will join us for a Q&A moderated by festival producers Christi Dodge & Nik Whitcomb and then we will screen his new short film Moon Blood. Learn more about Mark and his incredible career below!
Mark A. Burley is a four time Emmy nominated producer and director. A veteran of television, he was born in Berlin and was raised in London. He discovered his love for narrative storytelling in university at Bristol, and moved to LA in his 20s to pursue the film business. He has produced and directed on GLOW (2017), Orange Is The New Black (2013), Weeds (2005), Murder, She Wrote (1984) and Simon & Simon (1981). Mark has also worked on a number of TV movies of the week including Mrs. Santa Claus (1996) and Hiroshima: Out of the Ashes (1990). Mark directed the series finale of Orange Is The New Black and has received a Producers Guild of America award.

Turn left off of Main St just before the bank into the lot that says "Residential Parking". Park in any of the spots that say "RETAIL". Parking is also available in the bank lot next door which you can enter on 3rd St.
