The Badin Cross Country team traveled to Corwin Nixon Park in Mason to compete in Mason XC's annual invitational.
This race is like every other, 3.1 miles, but there is something very different about it that only the runners get to experience. On this course, you will find yourself jumping over haybales, through creek crossings, and running up a steep 10 foot mulch hill.
The course adds a bit of excitement from the usual running on grass. It brings a new perspective on racing and gives the runners twists and turns to look forward to.
Although the obstacles make the course a little bit slower, it adds fun and excitement for the runners and gives them more reasons to get through the race faster.
