Every Friday students look forward to the football games, no matter the opponent. One thing that makes football games especially special for students is the student section.
Two years ago the student section, also known as “Chaos Corner” was not able to be at games due to COVID restrictions. This year students can continue to attend games and cheer on the team.
“Football games are one of the main reasons I get excited to start school because I love to see everyone come together. I have realized not a lot of school show as much support as we do and I think that is one thing that makes Badin unique,” senior Maya Mazes said.
The beginning of the year for freshmen can be scary, but attending football games can help them to get to know people inside their grade.
Traditionally the student section holds the seniors in the front and then the freshmen in the back, with juniors and sophomores in the middle.
“I remember freshman year I loved going to football games because we dress in themes and got to do special chants. Even though we were in the back, I still got to watch the game and feel like part of the school,” senior Brianna Baker said.
It’s only three games into the season, so there’s still lots of time for students to go to a football game if you haven’t already and enjoy the student section’s chaos while supporting the team.
