Over spring break, many students had very different experiences. Some students went on vacations, traveled out of the country, went to concerts, and hung out with friends. Others stayed at home, watched movies, or played sports. Overall, it’s safe to say that most students enjoyed their break from school.
Like many students, freshman Carson Jungkunz spent most of his break playing sports.
“Over break I played 3 volleyball games against CJ, Mason, and Bishop Fenwick. They were all good games and we ended up undefeated.”
Carson plays on the Varsity volleyball team, which is on a winning streak. Unlike Carson, sophomore Andrew Keck went on vacation for spring break.
“I went to Disney World. It was a fun, surreal experience. During the trip, I enjoyed the various Mickey Mouse treats. I would say that going to Walt Disney World Resorts was a great way to spend my spring break.”
Compared to Andrew and Carson, Sophomore Connor Meyers had a very different spring break.
“I worked the entire time.”
Flubs is a very popular location for Badin students to work. Many students spent their spring break working there.
While there are many different ways to spend spring break, it was refreshing for all students to take a break from attending school.
