This Friday May 5th, AP US History(APUSH) students will be taking the AP test, which is approximately 4 hours long.
Students have been preparing all year for this one day that will determine whether they receive college credit or not. Many have been stressed, trying to learn everything they need to know and studying for hours this past week. APUSH teacher, Mr. Shuckman has gone through all aspects of the test in class and has worked all year to give students all his tips and tricks on how to receive the best score on the exam.
Sophomore Bella Balster said, “This is the first time Badin has allowed sophomores to take APUSH and I am so stressed for the test. Juniors already took US History with Mr. Z so I feel like they have it easier because they have learned all the information before. I don’t know, I just hope I do well.”
Freshmen, now sophomores, were picked to possibly take APUSH. This is new for Badin. For the first time sophomores and juniors have both taken the class all year and will take the exam soon. Many are nervous, but also hopeful as they have worked so hard all year for this.
Junior Lena Trokhan said, “I am ready, let's do this, we can do this.”
Other students are just ready to take the test and get it over with. Keeping an optimistic attitude might just be the key to succeeding.
Good luck to all APUSH students this Friday and enjoy the rest of the day off after the test.
