Senior Reese Anzalone has a lot of upcoming plans for his future. Anzalone has been evaluating his options for college and is looking to commit within the next few days.
The senior played as a linebacker on Badin’s football team, which went undefeated the past three regular seasons. Anzalone will be continuing his football career at the college level, but that’s not the only dream he will be pursuing.
“I want to be a pharmacist because I have been interested in medicine, but don’t want to go to medical school. I also don’t like working with blood, but I’d still like to help people,” Anzalone said.
Anzalone will be pursuing his dream of going to pharmacy school at either University of Findlay, or Walsh University. Both schools have offered him the opportunity to play football.
“Findlay has offered me direct admission to their pharmacy school, but Walsh was my first offer. They both are great schools with great football programs, so my college decision has been tough,” Anzalone said.
Anzalone has received nine offers for football, but that was not his initial plan. His plans changed halfway through football season when he discovered he wanted to continue playing in college.
“Originally I wanted to play baseball, but I found that during my football season, I felt more of a love for football,” Anzalone said.
Outside of sports, Anzalone enjoys spending time with his family and friends, along with watching Netflix and sports. No matter where his commitment may take him, Anzalone has a bright future ahead.
