Earlier this month, mobs of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol causing unease through the country. Unfortunately the riots turned violent after the mobs went inside the Capitol Building. Ruby Rosenblum, a sophomore, had some strong opinions on the topic.
The riots caused commotion and panic in our country. The storming of the Capitol was scary, and dangerous for everyone involved. “The riots were dumb and not morally right. It was pointless to storm the Capitol building like that,” Rosenblum said.
Many adults around the country contemplated going to the riot, but this Badin Student has a firm opinion.
“I would never go to the riots because I'm not built like that and it’s a waste of time,” Rosenblum said.
Some opinions are, the riot was violent and others believe it was not.
This is the real debate between the two political party supporters.
“I think this riot was peaceful, and violence solves nothing and is stupid to the 10th degree. We don’t need people fighting to get a point across,” Rosenblum said.
The question going around the media right now is, did these riots actually solve anything? That is for you to decide.
“I don’t believe the riots were not a good thing for our country, it just caused more problems than solved them,” Rosenblum said.
