On Tuesday Amy Coney Barrett got Confirmed into the United States Supreme Court. She was nominated by President Trump to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. This vote had much controversy because Ginsburg wanted to be replaced after the election.
A poll was sent out earlier in the week, asking Badin students if they supported the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett. We got about 90 responses.
In last place we have 10 students who felt indifferent about the vote. This is about 10.9% of the students who filled out the survey. These students said they didn’t have an opinion on the matter.
Next up is 16 students who had no clue who Amy Coney Barrett even was, I have to say that is kind of sad. This was 17.4 % of the students who took the survey
Now to the interesting votes, 32 students voted Yes that they support Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation. This was 34.8% of the students that took the survey. The vote between yes and no was very close during the poll.
In first place is 33 students said No that they wouldn’t support Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation. This was 35.9 % of the students who voted.
The poll for Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation had very interesting responses, even though the winner was no, everyone's opinions are valued.
