Stress is something that every student experiences. Life can get tough, and we all need ways to deal with stress.
In the recent week, Badin students have had to deal with the stress of scheduling for their next year of high school or finding a college. When dealing with your schedules, things can get complicated. Some people feel really stressed and some feel fine. Sophomore Olivia Blanton shared her thoughts on the subject.
“I'm feeling pretty good about scheduling, I think that I can fit everything I really want to take in fairly easily so I'm thankful for that,” Blanton said.
Managing stress can be hard, but it is also manageable.
“I think I have managed the stress pretty well, I try to not worry about it too much because I know I'll have a while to change it if I change my mind,” Blanton said.
For those who do feel very stressed, there are many ways to deal with it. There are a lot of great coping strategies and mechanisms.
“I like to draw or play with my dogs when I'm feeling stressed,” Blanton said.
If you are experiencing mass amounts of stress, you can always get help. Blanton has some advice for reducing stress.
“Don't be afraid to reach out to your friends or family if you are feeling stressed!” Blanton said.
