The Land of Illusion haunted scream park is a new haunted hotspot, after Kings Island announced they wouldn’t be doing Halloween Haunt this year. This spooky Halloween scare has six different attractions including The Middletown Haunted Trail.

Sophomore Rachel Nusky went to the haunted theme park over the weekend, and had a great time with her friends.

“I went to the Haunted Trail, and it was a great time. The experience was great and the house itself was very spooky and creative,” Nusky said.

The only downfall of the park was the lack of COVID-19 protocol, but that doesn’t stop guests from having a great time at the park. If you are going to spend time at the park I would recommend wearing a mask and social distancing, so our school stays safe and healthy.

“They did not make us wear masks and the social distancing wasn’t great,” Nusky stated.

The park during the weekend is very crowded, but that doesn’t stop groups of people wanting to experience the spooky scares. During the Halloween time these haunted parks are always crowded so I would suggest getting tickets ahead of time.

“We waited in an hour and a half line, but it was very worth it. The chainsaw was the scariest part of it,” Nusky said.

The Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park is definitely worth the wait and crowds. They have six haunted attractions that are definitely worth your time. During the spooky season you should surely check out this fun park.

“It was very fun and I am definitely going back,” Nusky said.
