Since Halloween’s trick-or-treating may be cancelled, not everyone will be able to enjoy the delicious candies they love.
Some of the most popular candies that Badin students enjoy are KitKats, Reese's, and Sour Patch Kids. KitKats were the definite Badin favorite. Freshman Savannah Darones had a lot to say.
“I like the fact that it's chocolate, but not too chocolate. The other half is a wafer which has a kind of ignorable taste, but it offsets the chocolate AND makes it snap,” Darones said.
KitKats may be number one, but Reese's are in close second.
“Reese's are my favorite because it's soft, easy to chew and I like peanut butter but my favorite Reese's are the egg shaped and pumpkin shaped Reese's. I could eat 100000 of them,” Kaitlyn Perkins, a freshman, said.
Some people don’t enjoy the sweet chocolate taste that KitKats and Reese's and prefer the more sour candies like Sour Patch Kids.
“It's my favorite because it has a unique taste,” Erin Loewenstinee, a Freshman, said.
These may be the Badin students favorite candy, but the question everyone has is will they be able to get these candies this year.
“I hope so because I really want my Almond Joy,” Jenny Blackburn, a senior, said.
