Jillian Palomino is a fellow student in the class of 2022 here at Badin High School. She is looking forward to her year here at Badin High School especially exited for one specific class: anatomy.
Palomino tends to like things on the gory side.
“My favorite part of the class are the root words since they help you with the understanding of the words' meaning,” Palomino said.
Palomino is looking forward to dissecting things like animals. This class can have an influence on the future profession she wants to be in: a coroner. A coroner is a person who performs autopsies.
”I'm interested in death and how people die and what causes death. I like the mystery of it,” Palomino said.
Palomino stated that she has five cats. Their names are Mocha, Cass, Bubbles, Willow and Omelet. Each cat is different from one another, some being fluffy, tiger stripped and even just a black cat.
“I mostly train all of them to be outside cats, but one cat is terrified of the outdoors,'' Palomino said.
Her favorite books are called Suicide Notes & It’s Kind of a Funny Story. Palomino enjoys these books because they are different from the typical books you would read.
”I like the books because I sympathize with the characters and relate to them in a way. The stories also aren't typical, the main characters are male, instead of the typical female who finds love on the way, y'know, kind of sexist,” Palomino said.
If she could have any super power, Palomino would have shape shifting, which is where you can turn anything real or fiction. She thinks this would be a really cool superpower to have and very out of the ordinary.
“You can be tall, short, anything really. You could even turn your hand into a hammer,” Palomino said.
