All Seniors leading the NOVEMBER Jr Retreat are reminded to meet in Mrs. Helms' office after school today.
Do you know that nearly 40,000 Butler County residents rely on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for food? With the government shut down, these people do not know when or if they will continue to receive their benefits. More and more of them are turning to the local food pantries for the food that they need on a daily basis. The food pantries need our help to fill their shelves. Badin will be conducting a fodo drive for the next two weeks. Please bring items in and place them in the bins in the Student Commons. Every item that you bring in will make a difference in someone's life, and you will be supporting our larger community. Thank you for your support!

PowderPuff Football is coming up! Powderpuff Football is a flag football game between girls of opposing grades. The girls will be taking the field on Monday, November 10th starting at 6:30pm. Ms. Ransom sent out a sign-up form for girls that are interested today in homeroom. There will be one team per grade-there can be up to 15 players per team. It costs about $25 to participate (includes a T-Shirt). In Season Athletes: Please note that you are not permitted to participate in PowderPuff if you are still in season on November 10th. If you choose to sign-up because are you not sure if you will still be in season, it is your responsibility to find a replacement and notify Ms. Noelker or Ms. Ransom. You will not be given a refund.

Tomorrow we will be permitted to wear out of uniform attire if you have made a donation to the current fundraiser. Students who donated received a receipt which must be placed behind their photo identification badge, as proof of participation. Students may wear jeans, shorts, sweat pants, overalls, sweaters, sweatshirts, and T-shirts. Out-of-uniform apparel must provide modest coverage on the top and bottom and be school appropriate. General daily guidelines, such as, no piercings, covering tattoos still apply.
All Sept Kairos leaders are asked to be in Mrs. Helms office by 2:35 today to get our meeting started.

Please bring $5 in on Tuesday to purchase a red card. The Boys Soccer team is putting on a Red Card night which recognizes the battle against cancer. Your $5 is donated to cancer research and the names you put on the card will be recognized at the Boys game on Tuesday.
