~I am the Backyard Environmentalist Portrait Environmentalist.  My pictures are of Creatures that fly , many times are endangered or rescued. Animals and insects become subjects with in the portrait snapped. I celebrate my experience time spent observing them.  When shooting I seek my subjects quite response, permission to capture. Jamie Ellin Forbes~Born on Long Island. Grew up and attended school in Syosset, Nassau, NY, Graduated SUNY with a Bachelor of Arts. Jamie Ellin Forbes, is co owner and co-founder of SunStorm Arts Publishing Co. since 1975 Publisher of FINE ART MAGAZINE, Fine Art Books, and SunStorm Fine Art Prints & Fine Art Magazine.com, Attending: Empire State SUNY MALS, Fine Art Theory and Photography. 

Co-owner of the SunStorm Gallery, Hicksville, NY 1986-87 Co-owner of the Forbes Gallery, East Norwich, NY 1986-87 Co-owner of “The Blue Poodle Gallery” in Southampton,NY  2003-224, Director of the Fine Art Museum of Long Island (FAMILY) 1993-1995

Director of the SunStorm Cultural Center and Gallery, Ketcham Inn Foundation 2016-2019

Exhibited and displayed art worldwide at international venues since 1990 in the following cities: London, New York, Cannes, Paris, Geneva, Nice, Miami, Los Angeles, Chicago, etc.
