Back Step Strays is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to reduce the stray animal population and improve the lives of abandoned, neglected, and at-risk animals.

Our Mission

Our mission is to reduce stray animal populations and improve the lives of abandoned, neglected, and at-risk animals. Our efforts focus on spay/neuter advocacy, TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccinate, return), and the rehabilitation and placement of strays into loving, permanent homes—all to create lasting, humane solutions to the overpopulation crisis.
