• Vision Resource Center Dual Enrollment Training (1 hour):  Covers the dual enrollment options in the California Community Colleges with an emphasis on College and Career Access Pathways (CCAP). The module provides a brief introduction to dual enrollment generally and then explores the specifics of the students, courses, schools and faculty that will most benefit from a CCAP agreement and how an agreement can be initiated.  Available to community college staff, administrators and instructors after registration. 

• BACCC Dual Enrollment Overview  presented to K-12 Pathway Coordinators (November 4th, 2020) Presentation slides to provide context about dual enrollment in the Bay Region. 

• Dual Enrollment Regional Matrix: A survey of all regional dual enrollment programs.  This will allow you to identify partners where similar work is being done so you can collaborate. 

• Glossary of Terms & Definitions: This list is meant to support the creation of a shared regional vocabulary. Start your discussion with clear shared terms!  If there is a term that should be on this list or if you would like to provide feedback on a proposed definition, submit suggestions here.  

• Bay Region Dual Enrollment Data Review: Provides an overview and analysis of regional special admit data from Data Mart by college, district & subregion.

Training

• Vision Resource Center Dual Enrollment Training (1 hour):  Available to anyone employed by the community college. Dual Enrollment Research

• Broadening the Benefits of Dual Enrollment: Reaching Underachieving and Underrepresented Students with Career-Focused Programs (2012) This research study from the Community College Research Study (CCRC)  informed AB 288 legislation. 

• Early College, Early Success: Early College High School Initiative Study (2013) American Institutes for Research: Gates Foundation research focusing on answering two questions:  1. Do Early College students have better outcomes than they would have had at other high schools? 2. Does the impact of Early Colleges vary by student background characteristics (e.g. gender and family income)? 

• What We Know About Dual Enrollment (2012) Community College Research Center: This overview synthesizes and summarizes CCRC and NCPR findings on dual enrollment outcomes, presents a case study of how one dual enrollment program increased participation of low-income and underrepresented students, and lays out guiding questions to consider when implementing a dual enrollment program.

• The Dual Enrollment Playbook: A Guide to Equitable Acceleration for Students  (2020)  The Aspen Institute and Community College Research Center identify five principles and the supporting strategies and practices through which community colleges and K-12 leaders can advance equity in high-quality dual enrollment.
