I’m Rebecca Perez PT, DPT, PCS, a physical therapist with a Board-Certification in Pediatrics. One of only three PT’s in the Rio Grande Valley to hold this distinction. Even before beginning college, I knew that working with children was my caphysicalcaphysicalllingcaphysicalcaphysicalllingllinglling. I have a special interest and additional training in working with children with developmental delays and various neuromuscular, orthopedic, and genetic conditions.
Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in 2011 with double minors in Psychology and English.
Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The University of North Texas Health Science Center in 2015.
Certified in Dynamic Movement Intervention, Introductory Level A, which is an innovative pediatric physical therapy intervention designed to stimulate neuroplasticity and development of motor milestones.
