We make every effort to minimize strong chemical odors and fragrances, but we cannot guarantee a completely fragrance-free cleaning experience. We do not use bleach unless we have discussed it with you in advance. For disinfecting, we use Clorox EcoClean products, which are effective without the harsh chemical smell often associated with traditional disinfectants. We also use an ammonia-based glass cleaner on mirrors and glass surfaces. 

The only standard cleaning product we use that contains added fragrance is Murphy® Oil Soap, which has a mild citronella scent.

Yes! If we do not ask directly, please let us know if you need your homecare techs to wear face masks during your service. We wear KN-95 masks when requested. 

Unfortunately, no. Heavy lifting and moving large items falls outside the scope of our cleaning services and may not be covered by our insurance. For everyone's safety, we ask that furniture, appliances, and other heavy belongings be moved prior to your cleaning appointment. Our team will gladly clean around or under items that cannot be moved.

Organizing, or Neurospicy Home Design, sessions are a specialized service that involves creating systems, making decisions about belongings, and providing personalized support to make a space more functional and manageable. This includes organizing and categorizing, body doubling, emotional support, strategies for task paralysis, prioritization, etc. Because this can be a mentally, emotionally, and physically taxing process, we cap the time at 2 hours. 

Our cleaning services include light tidying, getting things off the floor, moving dishes back to the kitchen, etc. If there is too much clutter to clean, your homecare tech may ask for a basket or a bin so they complete the clean. We don't expect houses to be tidy before we clean them. Cleaning services are booked based on square footage, type of service, and extra add-on and usually run from 3-6 hours. 

Body doubling is included in our Neurospicy Home Design services (see "What's the difference between cleaning and organizing?" General cleaning services do not include personalized support or attention from homecare techs, but many of our clients body double with us while we are in their homes.
