The journey begins overland from Balmaceda and takes you deep into one of Chile’s least explored regions, with unique access, private guiding, and seamless logistics handled by the Bosque Andino team.

Guiding and Hosting:
A Bosque Andino host will accompany you throughout the journey, ensuring personalized service, coordination, and safety. Local expert guides will lead each activity, with deep knowledge of the terrain and strong connection to the region.
Day 1 – Arrival & Overland to Río Tranquilo
Arrive in Balmaceda Airport. Overland journey south along the legendary Carretera Austral, passing turquoise rivers, dense forests, and hanging glaciers. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 2 – Into the Wild: Puerto Grosse & Laguna San Rafael
Drive deeper into Patagonia until reaching the shores of Puerto Grosse. Begin your immersive glamping experience. Navigation through fjords toward the edge of the San Rafael Glacier.
Day 3 – Kayaking
Paddle across protected waters with views of floating icebergs and untouched coastlines. Return to glamping camp for fireside dinner.
Day 4 – Arrival at the Estancia & Lake General Carrera
Transfer to a remote Patagonian estancia. Warm welcome with local hospitality, followed by a navigation across Lake General Carrera. Overnight at the estancia.
Day 5 – Horseback Expedition I
Begin the horseback journey through wide valleys, lenga forests, and open pampas. Picnic lunch en route, evening return to the estancia for dinner and rest.
Day 6 – Horseback Expedition II
Full-day ride deeper into pristine Patagonian landscapes. Encounter rivers, lakes, and mountain views. Campfire dinner and overnight at the estancia.
Day 7 – Horseback Expedition III
Final day of horseback riding, exploring new trails and high plateaus. Farewell dinner at the estancia with local cuisine and storytelling.
Day 8 – Departure
Early overland transfer to Balmaceda Airport for departure.
