What is a scientific investigation?
A scientific investigation is what scientists use to explore the world around us and answer questions that we may have. To carry out the investigation, scientists use a process called the scientific method!

How do I plan a meaningful investigation?
MY INVESTIGATION SHOULD:
- Build up questioning and curiosity to know more about the subject
- Be something I feel strongly about or want to learn more about
- Be related to our current area of study
- Be specific or narrow enough that I'll be able to it set up and complete it
- Example: We would not be able to test how weight impacts the speed of a skydiver because we are in a school setting
- Require testing, questioning and evaluation
