Bolts

A bolt is a type of fastener typically used to join two or more parts together temporarily or permanently. Bolts consist of a threaded cylindrical shaft with a head on one end, and they are paired with a nut to secure the joint. The threaded portion of the bolt allows it to be inserted into a pre-drilled hole in one of the parts being joined, while the nut is tightened onto the exposed threads to clamp the parts together.

Bolts come in various shapes, sizes, and materials, each designed for specific applications. They can be categorized based on their head types, drive types, and the materials they're made from. Some common types of bolts include hexagon head bolts, socket head cap screws, carriage bolts, and eye bolts.

Bolts play a crucial role in construction, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and many other industries, where they are used to assemble structures, machinery, equipment, and vehicles. They are chosen based on factors such as the required strength, corrosion resistance, and environmental conditions of the application.
