Community Activities

Azteca athletes take opportunities to get involved with various 5k's and other running events throughout the year including the Brooksie Way races (Rochester Hills), Evening Glow Pumpkin run (Shelby Township), and the Run of the Dead (Southwest Detroit).

Azteca Cleaning-up the streets

Our athletes take pride in their city, each year members of the boxing team and dance groups come together with other community organizations to pick up trash Cesar Chavez Blvd in Pontiac.

Azteca at the Parades

Each year Azteca participates in the Pontiac Christmas Parade and the Clarkston Fourth of July Parade. Our dancers twirl and amaze, while our boxers showcase their skills on the mitts as they walk the parade route.

Azteca at the fair

It has become an annual tradition for our Azteca groups to visit the Oakland County 4H Fair together.

Azteca on the alley

Each year Azteca hosts a Bowl-A-Thon which allows our youth and our supporters to engage in friendly competition while raising funds to support our programs.

Each summer Pontiac Lake State Park become a second home for our Azteca boxer. Approximately on day a week throughout the summer our athletes run the through the woods and up the hills then end the day with swimming (and sometime hot dogs).
