Join this interactive session and explore how you can use the ISTE Standards for Coaches to drive change and transform teaching and learning with technology. You will discover how these standards can support you and your teachers in integrating the new AZ EdTech Standards for students. You will also learn how to apply the ISTE Standards for Coaches as a framework to plan, implement, and evaluate your coaching program. You will leave with a clear vision of how you can leverage the ISTE Standards for Coaches to enhance your coaching effectiveness and impact student learning.

VR Club tackles the issue of under-resourced schools by introducing virtual and augmented reality science labs, empowering students to co-create their own educational experiences. This approach enhances technology literacy and reinforces science concepts, enabling students to conduct experiments and visualize complex ideas without the need for physical equipment. Educators can leverage these student-built VR experiences to further enrich learning for others. This school year, VR Club was launched as an elective at two local high schools, aligned with Arizona's computer science standards.
My session will showcase how to use Microsoft Tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Teams to create accessible learning experiences for students both in the physical and digital classroom environment.
Participants will gain insights into Deer Valley USD's quarterly lessons covering a diverse range of topics related to artificial intelligence and responsible digital behavior. The poster session will highlight the specific content, resources, and strategies used to foster students' understanding of AI technologies, their ethical implications, and the importance of being informed digital citizens.

The poster will provide a look into the usage of digital citizenship in an educators practice while also promoting safe and responsbile technology use. The EPIC Framework will be explained as a way to promote good citizenship practices with students.

In this hands on session, participants will explore several new and emerging technologies that can easily be integrated into classroom instruction from middle school level up to and including college level. Using these technologies will not only assist and academic learning but also spark the discussion of how to properly use such AI based tools so that learning can be achieved yet students will maintain integrity and honesty with such usage. A few of the technologies that will be explored in this session are: Diffit, ChatGPT, Consensus and Magic School.
