Saturday Night Dinner and Keynote Speaker. Located at Pima Community College West Campus (2202 W Anklam Rd, Tucson, AZ 85709).
Dinner Saturday night with special guest and Keynote, Richard Fischer, PhD CWB. Research Wildlife Biologist and Wildlife Team Leader for the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center, Environmental Laboratory. He is the lead for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Threatened and Endangered Species Team, and National Coordinator for the Department of Defense (DoD) Partners in Flight Program.
Richard Fischer's keynote will provide valuable insight into the proactive efforts on the 27 million acres of military lands across the country to monitor, manage, and conserve migratory birds in support of DoD missions. He will highlight the unique approaches that various military bases adopt and their exceptional habitat and species management initiatives. Additionally, he will focus on specific projects in the southwest, as well as cooperative regional endeavors dedicated to the conservation of avian life
