RECITAL DAY - IT’S SHOWTIME!!!

Please have ONE parent/guardian check your dancer in at the “dancer drop off station” backstage at your assigned time prior to showtime. After checking in, your dancer will proceed to their assigned dressing room area where they will find their classmates and the designated group mom(s). There will be one or two staff/parent volunteers assigned to each group. After dropping your dancer off, you can head to the lobby. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show for you to take your seats in the audience. We will have water, some light snacks and activities for the dancers while they wait backstage. All dancers will stay backstage for the entire show and participate in a group finale bow. After the show, please have the same ONE parent/guardian pick up and check out your dancer from their dressing room. It is extremely tight quarters backstage so please only send ONE parent/guardian...the rest of your friends and family can wait outside or in the lobby for you and your dancer(s). Please be patient as it will be busy backstage but when everyone follows the rules it goes faster (think school pickup-it's a process). Please also note that dancers will not be released before the end of the show. Parents that try to pick up dancers early cause disruption and make it unsafe for everyone involved. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

RECITAL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We could not pull off these amazing end of the year shows without the help of parent volunteers. We would be so appreciative if you would like to volunteer to help! We are specifically looking for class mom’s to help chaperone each class backstage. Duties include checking in/out dancers, assisting with shoe/hair/costume changes, getting dancer’s lined up and ready to go on stage, monitoring backstage downtime. If you would like to sign up please see/call Jori at the front desk.
