COASMUN is a one-day Model United Nations conference created for club members to put their debating and speech-writing skills into practice before the summer holidays begin. Whether you are a seasoned delegate or attending your first conference, COASMUN offers the ideal environment to develop your confidence, refine your diplomatic abilities, and get ready for the challenge of MUN Bilbao 2027, our major conference taking place next January.

Our debate format!
At COASMUN, committees follow a structured and interactive debate format that encourages diplomacy, collaboration, and active participation from all delegates.
Throughout the conference, delegates will take part in formal debate sessions, moderated and unmoderated caucuses, and collaborative resolution writing. Delegates will work together to discuss global issues, negotiate solutions, and draft resolutions within their committees.
All delegates are encouraged to come prepared with research, possible solutions, and a clear understanding of their country’s position in order to contribute effectively to debate.

How to get there on the 18th:
There are 3 bus stops in Getxo:
-Puente Bizkaia at 7:25
-Estación Neguri at 7:30
-Artaza Sanitas at 7:35
The RETURN will have the same stops + LANDETA for the students who need to go to Barakaldo and Castro.
There are 2 bus stops in Bilbao:
-Gran Vía at Renault at 7:40
-Gran Vía 41 Alvaro Moreno at 7:42
The RETURN will have the same stops.
If you live in Castro Urdiales, please take the bus of the younger students on the second turn, buses 11 and 13. It´s okay if you arrive a bit late.
Be at your preferred stop 5 minutes early!
Those stops are near metro stations, and if your house is nowhere near there and you can't get a ride from a parent or a friend, you can come a bit later on the regular route of the younger students' bus.
This event is open to delegates in 3ESO-2BACH. If you are interested in chairing a committee or assisting the Admin or Press teams, please send us your application. Timetables and food arrangements are to be announced, but you can write to us now if you have any special requirements.
