When students are on team for F block or PALS we follow a routine outlined by administration.  To start class, we make sure our papers are organized from the day and in the correct location.  Students check their agenda, review homework assignments as a class and/or use this website to check that they have the correct information.  At least once a week, we encourage students to check their grades on the portal. Second, or the middle part of PALS, we teach or facilitate a lesson that connects to one of the core subjects, work on team building and developing relationships with your students and perform interventions with students who may be struggling.  Lastly, to end PALS, the students work on something they need to do.  This could be, checking in with a teacher, absent/make-up work, AR reading, IXL recommended strategies, making flashcard, studying, organizing their binder or getting organized digitally.  It is NOT homework time.
