AWH Engineering College (AEC), established in 2001, is a self financing engineering college managed by Association for Welfare of Handicapped (AWH), Kozhikode, Kerala. It is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological Universiy and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

AEC offers at present 4 year B.Tech in five branches (Electronics & communication Engg, Computer Science & Engg, Civil Engg, Mechanical Engg, Electrical Engg) , four M.Tech Courses ( Structural Engineering and Computer Science & Engg) and 3 year MCA programe.

AWH Engineering College has an independent placement office focused to cater to the needs of leading organizations in conducting campus interviews for the final year students of AWH Engineering College. It is headed by a senior professor with additional charge and supported by placement coordinators from all departments.

Right from the inception of the B.Tech course, the students are given an opportunity to think and grow globally. They are educated on soft skills and life skills. The training and placement cell conducts motivational classes such as coaching in aptitude tests, group discussion, mock interviews, resume preparation and personality development, in order to tune the students to be highly competent in their performance in the process of recruitment and selection.

Internships /In plant training are done during their semester breaks to enhance their technical skills. The training are done in industries either by registering in internships portals like (ASAP Internship Portal, National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS)Student Enrollment portal) or by individually approaching the companies

The college has tie up with many organisations to ease the placement and training process. The Placement process automation is done using “Enskill-Lycaeum” Platform. The analytical, reasoning and other soft skill development along with job search are done using the Online assessment platforms like Trinity Skillworks, Hiremee etc. The skill enhancement programs are conducted in college in association with ASAP kerala. The college has signed an MOU with Talent Sprint, Edx online platform, ASAP Keral and Hiremee for providing skill assessment courses and placement readiness programs

Every year students are given classes on skill (technical/soft) development by industry experts for upskilling their talent. Every students are registered in the National career service portal and Kerala state job portal which help them to get placed during their college days.
