We collaborate with finishing schools, technical communities, and industries to provide comprehensive upskilling programs. We have established Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with organizations such as ASAP, Skill Academy, SkillActz, and Infosys Springboard, offering a diverse range of courses. Additionally, each department has signed MOUs with various organizations to offer specialized skill enhancement courses in their respective core domains.
The training activities for students at AWH Engineering College commence in their first year and continue in collaboration with various esteemed organizations. From the outset, students are integrated into professional communities such as Mulearn, Skill Academy, and Infosys Springboard. On campus, we have student branch chapters of IEEE, IEDC, IIC and ICI, providing students with opportunities to organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and competitions, thereby enhancing their overall skill set.
In their third and fourth years, students receive offline training to refine their soft skills. This training focuses on communication, time management, resume writing, group discussions, and interview preparation, delivered through interactive, activity-based sessions. Furthermore, the Placement Cell actively collaborates with alumni who visit the campus to share insights on the latest industry trends and developments, ensuring our students are well-prepared for the evolving job market.
Internship opportunities are offered to students starting in their pre-final year, with placement opportunities available in their final year. These placements are facilitated through on-campus recruitment drives, off-campus placements, and job fairs. Additionally, we provide placement opportunities by collaborating with online assessment platforms such as SkillActz and Kerala Skill Express, as well as professional communities like µLearn, CAFIT, and IEEE. This multi-faceted approach ensures that our students have access to a wide array of career opportunities.
