Learning Intention - To start researching some information about natural disasters.
Now you have some ideas about the direction of your persuasive writing (agree or disagree) let's find some supporting information.
Success Criteria:
Research about your topic and record the key information in your writing book. (note taking)
Create a Google document in your writing folder for a reference page
Remember to record the books name/author or the website address/ URL where you found the information so you can get back to it. (Reference Page)

Lesson 3: - Recount writing with Miss Malone
Learning Intention - To include powerful adjectives, verbs, adverbs and emotive words about a moment in time in the holidays.
Success Criteria
Brainstormed in your writing book keywords about something that you did in the school holidays. What happened? Who, Where? When?
To included a range of descriptive words, adverbs, verbs and tense.
I will have used emotive words to explain and describe a moment in time from the school holidays.
To paint a picture in the reader's mind using rich words.
