Mathletics
Lesson 7 - Let's get creative and find fractions by using the paper folding technique.
Paper-fold various fractions by using a combination of strategies based on halving, thirding and fifthing. To be successful you will need to use your multiplication and division knowledge to help you create the correct fraction when paper folding.
Watch the Youtube clip to see a basic fraction fold and then let's level up creating fractions beyond halving, thirds & fifths.
Lesson 6 - Fraction Strips
Let's explore equivalent fractions and compare fractions using fraction strips.
Remember to SMRF it into your Math folder.
