Physical Education and Health
Physical Education:
Let's get Active! Why? Students who are physically active tend to have better grades, school attendance, cognitive performance (e.g., memory), and classroom behaviors (e.g., on-task behavior). Higher physical activity and physical fitness levels are associated with improved cognitive performance (e.g., concentration, memory) among students. Our Goal? To allow our students time to move and participate in lifetime activities.
Health Education:
Why? School-based health education helps adolescents acquire functional health knowledge, and strengthens attitudes, beliefs, and practice skills needed to adopt and maintain healthy behaviors throughout their lives. Our Goal? To allow our students to learn information that they can use to make good decisions about their health for a lifetime.
About me
