I have always loved computers and technology. While earning my Masters of Education I was a research assistant for project TITUS (Teachers Infusing Technology in Urban Schools). As part of my work for project TITUS, I developed educational modules to help teachers integrate technology into their curriculum and led professional development workshops. After graduating I worked as a school librarian while earning my Masters of Library and Information Science. While earning my second Masters degree I was able to focus my course work on Computer Science, taking classes in Computer Networking and Programing. After moving with my husband to Seattle, WA I worked as an Adjunct Professor for National Louis University training future school librarians and as the Director of Academic Technology for University Prep School, a private 6-12 school in the Seattle area. Later I also worked at Morton College as the Instructional Technologist and at Nicolet College teaching community technology classes. I love sharing my passion for technology with students of all ages and have been teaching Computer Class to students at AVW since 2018.
