After-School Program: EXCEL

Welcome to the EXCEL After-School Program!

Please review the program details below and submit an application for consideration.

Program Dates: August 6, 2026 – May 26, 2027
Hours: Begins immediately at school dismissal. Student pick-up is at 5:30 PM.
Eligible Grades: Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 6th grade.

Daily Schedule

First Hour: Focused entirely on core mathematical and English Language Arts literacy skills
Second Hour: Enrichment electives generously hosted by our school teachers.

⚠️ Important Policy: Space is extremely limited, and submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. Students not initially selected will be placed on a waitlist. Due to staffing ratios, students who are habitually picked up late will be exited from the program.

Clubs / Sports

Middle School Clubs are offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Sports: Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer (7th - 8th Grade)

Students in grades 6-8 interested in clubs should see

Ms. Blackford in room 905 to get a list of clubs and an application.

Please check the calendar on the Sandia Homepage to see the time and location of each sporting event.

All students must have a 2.0 GPA to participate in Sports and must not have any behavioral referrals.
