Summer School is available for students who need to make up semester courses.
Session 1 is for Fall semester recovery, and Session 2 is for Spring semester recovery.
Classes run 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Students and parents must express interest in summer school with their counselor during the regular registration season OR by submitting a counseling request. Registration is first-come, first-served, and course offerings depend on staffing availability. Returning the summer school application confirms interest only. Families will be notified of enrollment in mid-May. Completed forms should be returned to the Counseling Office (C-413) as soon as possible.
Attendance & Expectations
Attendance is critical. Absences and tardies are tracked and cumulative. Students will be dropped after 8 hours (2 days) of absences or tardies and will not receive credit. Students must report directly to class when tardy and may not leave campus before class ends, including during nutrition break.
Students dropped from the program will not receive credit or a grade. Parents may request a drop by calling the school. Summer school follows a zero-tolerance discipline policy; students removed for disciplinary reasons will not receive credit.
