Robles All-Star Student of the Month

Garrett E. - 5th Grade

Garrett has shown an eagerness to learn new things in class. He is always attentive and on task and often has ideas to add to our topic of discussion. He is respectful to both his teacher and the students who he plays with. Garrett always greets me with a big smile and a hug! He is setting a great example of what it means to be Respectful, Open-Minded

Robles All-Star Staff of the Month

Marisa Soto - 1st Grade teacher

Marisa Soto is a leader on the Robles Campus. She has a positive attitude and is always so professional. She is so supportive in helping a new first year teacher find her way, and navigate the demands. She is a role model for all those around her, we are so lucky to have her as a member of our staff. She truly cares about the students and the staff and wants us all to feel like a family. We could not ask for or find a better 1st grade teacher for our school.

AVMS All-Star Student of the Month

Kadan A. - 6th Grade

Kadan has shown kindness to students that need a kind word or someone to cheer them on. He is able to notice when a student is having a bad day and find ways to include them with his friend group. Weather it is in the classroom or on the playground Kadan is quick with a smile! When a student in class was feeling like he couldn’t keep up Kadan was able to sit with him and help redirect the student and help him feel like a positive part of the classroom. We are so happy to have Kadan on the middle school campus - he is helping students SOAR at AVMS!

AVMS All-Star Staff of the Month

Sandra Galaz - AVMS Health Clerk

When you hear the words “Team Player” Sandra’s name will soon follow! She is not only our Health Clerk Extraordinaire” she has stepped up this year in a big way. She was right there over the summer helping navigate registration with a new team. Then when our administrative assistant resigned unexpectedly she stepped up yet again and took over the role of registrar while we searched for a new administrative assistant. She had to learn our student information system and communicate with new families as they registered. She did all of this with a smile and continued to ask, “what else can I help with?” and help she did…answering phones, fielding parent questions, and editing my newsletters to name a few all while maintaining the health office. Sandra truly exemplifies SOAR!
