Message from Superintendent

Dr. David Dumon

Dear Altar Valley Families,

With one month left in 2021 I want to say thank you one more time to all of our Altar Valley families for their continued support throughout this school year. I am proud of all our families, students, and staff on how we continue to work together during these challenging times to Build, Grow, Flourish, and Succeed!

As we plan for the 2022-2023 school year one of our ongoing challenges is the need for bus drivers. This is a nationwide problem that has affected Altar Valley. We are always looking for substitute teachers and currently we have some paraprofessional openings but most importantly at this time we are in need of bus drivers. If you have any interest or know of someone, please apply or encourage others to apply today at:

One of our commitments for the New Year is to continue to honor the passing of the 2019 Maintenance and Operations Override and our commitment to free athletics. Supporting our middle school sports is a priority and we are planning to contract with a transportation company to ensure that our middle school students can travel to their sports away games.

May this last month of the year bring you all great happiness. I wish you all the best this Holiday Season!

Sincerely,

Dr. Dave Dumon
