Parent Village
The Family Resource Center proudly hosted a Parent Village as part of the Building a Parent Nation movement, bringing together families to create a stronger, more supportive society for parents!
With 19 adults—including parents and grandparents—gathered, we dove into meaningful discussions about the challenges our families face and how we can unite to shape a brighter future for our children. While the adults explored the power of Parent Village, the children had a blast socializing and playing together!
Some of the key topics we tackled included teaching kids about bullying—helping them stand up for themselves and others—and gaining financial independence to provide greater stability for our families. We are parents, advocates, and changemakers, working together to uplift our children, our families, and our entire community.
