DEAR PARENTS & GUARDIANS,

At the media center, our constant goal is to instill a love of reading while also supporting classroom curriculum and inspiring life-long learning across the subject areas. We pledge to seek JOY in reading and learning every day.

Each day, we aim to serve our students and staff with quality reading and learning resources and opportunities through a variety of texts, media, and technology tools. Whether our physical spaces are open or they visit our digital resources online, students are able to explore our fiction and nonfiction collection to check out books, as well as grow in information literacy skills with curated online resources, learn and practice technical skills that allow them to navigate libraries with ease, and extend their understanding of texts and curriculum by participating in read-alouds, interactive projects, and hands-on STEM extension activities, all with the help and support of the Avon Media Team.
