Meet the Teacher

In my years in the Avondale School District, I have been privileged to work with children from sixth through the eleventh grade.  Teaching brings me great joy, and I take my profession very seriously. I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Alma College and a Master’s  Degree from Saginaw Valley State University.

I wear many hats at AMS. I coach Football Cheerleading and Boys Track. I run Student Council and AMS Press and I am in charge of planning the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. I also coach soccer outside the district. 

I believe in all that the Avondale School  District has to offer.  I have brought my own three children to the district to attend school.  My son Jackson is in 12th Grade at and my son Tyler is a freshman at MSU. I also have a son Hendrix who is in 4th Grade at Woodland. The success of all of our children is very important to me.
