LRC Math - Ms. McGee

Week of 5/27 - 5/31

Hello Families!

Students have finished learning about Chapter 9: Statistical Measures and Chapter 10: Data Displays which were combined.  The students should have finished working on a Mystery packet on mean, median, mode and range that they were working on for over a week.  They learned about Interquartile ranges and stem and leaf and histograms. We will have a review and then begin studying for the last quiz of the year.  I know they are excited about the Summer Break!

If your child needs additional math practice, and finds themselves with extra time, encourage them to log into IXL and focus on their personalized NWEA skill plan. This Is a great tool to improve their math skills.  Remember to look at Google Classroom if a student will be absent as the missing assignments and/or notes will be posted there.  Google classroom can also be accessed for more detailed information, and important deadlines/dates! There are also a lot of resources in Google Classroom that your child can access at home to help them.  Ask your student to show you their information.

Should you like more information, please refer to my google site McGee site - This is the Google site which contains information about chapters, upcoming deadlines, important test date information and more!  Also, if you have questions, please email me at yvette.mcgee@avondaleschools.org

Thank you families!
