A bit more about me...

Welcome, students & families! This is my tenth year at Pine Grove School doing what I love to do! I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education K-6. I also received my Master's Degree from University of St. Josephs in Multiple Intelligences. I love to try to new things with my students in the classroom and use a multi-sensory approach in my teaching. I look forward to getting to know all of you and for you to get to know me as well. I know we will have a fabulous first grade year! I feel privileged to be apart of the Pine Grove Family with such an outstanding school system. Aside from teaching, I love traveling (especially to warm places), playing sports and being active outdoors, as well as shopping and cooking, or even better going out to eat at new restaurants. I have quite the competitive side to me and you will see/hear about my boyfriend Connor (pictured above) and I. We find ourselves head to head with many sports/activities. I also love and deeply adore my family which includes my dog M.J., who I'm sure you will see lots of pictures of too!
