When we experience severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for our lives to unravel. My great passion is to help people of all ages move through these difficult moments and start living the lives they desire. I help my clients find new strategies so they can break through frustrating behaviors and manage daily challenges. It is incredibly rewarding to help families strengthen their relationships and experience the world with newfound confidence and contentment.
I realize that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so I have been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Emotion Freedom Techniques, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Positive Psychology.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and my educational background includes:
Master of Social Work from the University of Denver
Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Colorado at Boulder
Graduate Certificate in Children's Mental Health from the University of South Florida.
I have over 20 years of mental health experience, both in the field and at home. I fully understand the heartache and worry that parents face when their children are struggling. Together, we can help your child learn how to safely manage his or her emotions and behaviors.
