Obtaining communal harmony by disseminating the ideals of Mahatma Gandhiji by involving students and teachers to undertake studies, research and field work based extension service programmes of constructive work.

Specific Objectives of the Centre

• Spreading the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi to students, teachers and community.

• Creating awareness on social dimensions on peace and non-violence for communal harmony among various stakeholders of the society

• Motivating students and teachers to undertake research on prevalence of Gandhian Ideals in the community

• Spreading the ideas of Gandhiji in reconstruction of society on moral, ethical and spiritual foundations.
