Senior Projects
The Cedars-Sinai Blood Drive is a community-focused initiative in partnership with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. This project addresses the ongoing blood shortage by encouraging volunteers to donate and help save lives. Participants not only contribute to critical medical care but also learn about the importance of blood donation and the impact it has on patients in need. Every donation counts toward strengthening our community and supporting those who rely on life-saving blood transfusions.
Falcon Achievers Prom is a senior project dedicated to giving special needs students the chance to experience the magic of prom in a comfortable and inclusive environment. Traditional proms can be overwhelming for some students due to bright lights and sensory challenges, so this project aims to create a safe, joyful celebration tailored to their needs. Through fundraising efforts, the goal is to provide everything necessary—from decorations to refreshments—so that these students can enjoy a memorable prom experience of their own.
Together Over Fentanyl, in collaboration with Antelope Valley Partners For Health, is a senior project focused on raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl. Through a PSA-style video, the project highlights how fentanyl use can impact not only the individual but also their family, friends, and community. By educating viewers on its risks, the project aims to promote prevention, understanding, and support for those affected.
Participation in extracurricular activities allows students to build leadership and teamwork skills while strengthening their college and scholarship applications. Students also have the opportunity to explore their career interests, gain valuable real-world experience, and connect with other students who share similar academic and career goals.
