At PHS we celebrate our vibrant community of over 200 Emergent Bilingual students. We believe that speaking multiple languages is a superpower, and our mission is to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and set up for success.

A Dedicated Support Team

We’ve built a robust network of experts specifically for our EL students, including:

• Two EL Coordinators to oversee academic growth.

• A support Counselor for personalized guidance.

• Bilingual Aides in the classroom.

• A Dedicated EL Secretary to help navigate school logistics.

For Students: We host regular social events designed to build friendships and make everyone feel welcome!

For Families: We value your voice! Join us for our monthly ELAC meetings to stay informed and help shape your child’s educational experience.

ELAC Meetings

(English Learner Advisory Committee) Meetings in English and Spanish, a place for parents to come to the school and learn and meet the staff and ask any questions, and feel connected to their childs school! All parents are welcome, even if your child is not an English learner! We have raffles and food!
