Mission 


The mission of the Lancaster High School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive program that develops and prioritizes data-driven goals to ensure a program of growth which supports the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. Through collaboration with relevant educational partners, school counselors will work to ensure that all students have equitable access to the programs and supports necessary to graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to become college and career ready, as well as global and productive citizens. 


Vision Statement 

The Lancaster High School Counseling Department will empower all students to become lifelong learners through a comprehensive program that supports students’ academic, personal/social and career goals through equitable access to academic rigor, technology and individualized supports. Through partnerships with peers, community members and mentors, students will gain the confidence and skills to achieve their goals and persevere through life’s challenges. Students at Lancaster High School are creative, resilient and culturally aware, allowing them to fulfill their potential as productive, thriving members of society.
