Best Practices - Operations

The Golden 7

  1. Check your AVC email weekly and respond to emails from Counseling in a timely manner. Be aware of changes that are taking place.
  2. Do not exceed the weekly or monthly hours in your approved schedule unless pre-approved by Dean via e-mail. (Max hours available per week is 6 hours unless otherwise approved. Make sure you CC Allison and Luis.)
  3. Turn in time sheets in a timely manner. Allison will send you a reminder before they are due.
  4. Report only the hours you were assigned and specifically only the hours you worked in your monthly time sheet.
  5. The hours you submit on your time sheet must reflect the schedule you submitted to Luis prior to the term. If the hours you submit are not in the schedule, you will have worked for free and without pay. You have to have a schedule hourly assignment to receive pay.
  6. Submit semester or other session schedules to Luis, the Department Chair, before the deadlines--no exceptions. If you are seeking an increase in hours in your schedule, then it must be pre-approved by the Dean via e-mail before submitting to Luis.
