Activity Overview
In this activity, children will continue their practice of sharing through a physical and fun game. Adults can support the social emotional message by prompting children about how we feel when we are engaged in the act of sharing. Playing the game creates an opportunity to relate this feeling to a joyful example, which results in positive reinforcement of the concept.

Steps
Begin the discussion by reading the story Should I Share My Ice Cream? Use the book to reflect on and discuss how sharing helps us feel good inside, and helps others feel good as well.
Have the student make an ice cream cone by rolling the construction paper into a cone shape and taping it. Decorate with drawing materials.
